The term is used loosely, and it's rather tongue-in-cheek. And, did you really need to look up the definition of 'stalker'?

HI, I've been...oh, wait. Um, *following* your blog for a couple days and this is my first comment :) I TOTALLY agree with you! I don't want stalkers. That's creepy. And it's a crime. BUT, I like having followers...or friends. Both are much more positive.

I totally agree :) everyone calls themselves "blog stalkers" when, um, it's a public blog. if that's stalking to look at a public thing, then... wow. haha.

THANK YOU! I've been following a bunch of wedding photo blogs, including yours, for a few months now and have seen that term used EVERYWHERE. I could not help but think of myself as a "word that shall not be named," and it made me feel so icky and dirty. Thanks for clearing that up!

Yeah, stalker isn't the best word to use...friend or follower does sound much better. You can pull off the brunette look really well (I'm one)...I'm so jealous of any one with blue eyes!
