I'm usually such a quick, decisive decision maker.
I'm never that girl who lingers and laments looking at a menu trying to decide what to order.
I test drove one car, it drove, it was in my budget, it was white and within two hours it was mine.
Boom. Decided.
But I'm stuck with this coffee table decision. So I'm calling upon my fresh eyes, my newlyweds, my artistic readers, my mom and pretty much anyone else. Which table do you like?
I think all three would go well with my zebra rug, new gray tweed chairs and white modern sofa.
The first two cost the same, and the third is $50 more.
And they all are from CB2.
Take a look and tell me your thoughts:
Clean, classy, sharp:

Warehouse-y style, practical, AND in the sale section:

Modern, fun and the most expensive:

What do you think?
I need your thoughts?!
No question mark.
I NEED YOUR THOUGHTS!
And someday I'll help you order your food real quick ;)

ReplyDelete2 or 3!
ReplyDeleteI vote #1!
ReplyDeleteI like #2 the best.. the 2nd shelf in the middle will be super-handy... and while I like the lines of #3, it almost looks plastic. lol
ReplyDelete#2--ditto, Naomi! :)
ReplyDeletenumero dos.
ReplyDeleteif you can translate that... ;-)
Table #2
ReplyDeleteI say #1, but if you think you will be putting alot of stuff on the table, go with #2! =)
ReplyDelete#2 for sure---ditto Naomi!! :)
ReplyDeleteFrom a designers perspective, I'd go with two because it's the only one that provides you with storage, however, keep in mind that glass will have to be cleaned more often from fingerprints. Enjoy!! :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE #1 guess its not as practical as #2 with the extra shelving, BUT the shiny silver border of #1, i love!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Naomi - number two. =)
ReplyDeleteI love the second! I think the extra shelving on would be helpful :)
ReplyDeleteI would go with # 2 :)
ReplyDeleteTable 2 has more long term usage possibilities. It has the "creature" comfort dimension, so you can "put something away" and yet have immediate access to it. It will be nice during the holidays as well, coming up, to place cards or knick knacks or candies just below the surface. There are so many pluses to the 2 that 1 and 3 do not have. Just my buck.75. LOL!
ReplyDeleteB
#2, absolutely. Done and done!
ReplyDeleteAh! Thanks everyone... seems like practical is winning ;)
ReplyDeleteI wish that the shiny metal was on the practical one!
3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3!
ReplyDeleteNumber 2!
ReplyDeleteYou can always paint it. Or get it chromed. Seriously. Look into it. Or better yet I bet you could trade some really great painter/artist/welder/creative genius to add something "YOU" to the table. In exchange for your photographic genius. Just saying. Practical is good, but creative+practical makes AWESOME!
ReplyDeletepractical is good, but you gotta love it!
ReplyDelete#1
you can always add some side tables for storage...
table #2!
ReplyDeleteNumber 2 hands down. :)
ReplyDeletei lean toward #1 or #2. i agree with Naomi that the third one looks almost plastic. i think the silver edging on the first two look classy-retro.
ReplyDeleteif you hate clutter, go with #1. the practicality of having a 2nd shelf (#2) might very quickly give way to just stashing stuff there and pretty soon it will drive you nuts. #1 will probably force you to only keep a few items on it at a time. (if that clean, tidy look is what you're after)
there's my $0.02! :)
#3. You have a Zebra print rug. You don't want anything getting in the way of showing off that awesomeness!
ReplyDelete#3. Definitely #3.
ReplyDelete2 or 3, 3 is pretty cool..2 gives you more space to store stuff if you need it.
ReplyDelete33333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333! 3 WINS!
ReplyDeleteI'd say 2!!!
ReplyDeleteHmm... tricky. First of all I love CB2! I like the look of the third one the best, but I have an acrylic tray from CB2, the same material, and it scratches really really easily. So if you get the third one, just be aware of that. If you have a really cool rug, number 1 would be great because it wouldn't distract. Table 2 is great and practical, and the shelf would be so fun to store books! I can't decide either but those are my thoughts :).
ReplyDeleteKristen, I think you and I both know that table two is the one for you.
ReplyDelete;)
Number 3 completely awesome and simple; because it's all clear it doesn't look like it takes up any room in your room, but it does... lol :D
ReplyDeleteWith the colors you mentioned that are on your furniture, which are all pretty neutral, the metallic ones might make the combination seem more colder, while the clear plastic one won't do that so much. i agree that #3 will prob look stunning with the zebra. I'm partial to high-end design, and #3 screams that:) plus, i love the width they gave it; the other two seem rather on the smaller side. #3, baby!!
ReplyDeleteI like the second one the best.
ReplyDeleteI'd choose #2 because...
ReplyDelete#1 and #3 look a little more cheap/college dorm looking. Less substantial. And while I realize you are that age, it's more practical to have yr furniture last longer.
And the shelf is helpful when you want to have a clean table top while still getting to store things on the shelf.
Definitely number 2!
ReplyDelete#1 is simple with a wonderful style that I don't think you will get tired with. =D
ReplyDelete#2 looks like #1, but with the added benefit of a shelf. #3 looks like my grandma's table, and I don't really like my grandma's table. So #2 :)
ReplyDelete#1. But #2 if you like to have a lot of stuff on your coffee table.
ReplyDeleteAt first I loved table #2, but now I kinda like table #3 because it's *different*.
ReplyDeleteTable #2 tho' gets more love because it's in the sale section ! That would definitely be the kicker for me :)
#3 is definitely the coolest and most beautiful you could see through to the zebra rug or put some hot pink round boxes to stash things in underneath for interest
ReplyDelete#2! It looks nice and is practical as well. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is not easy. I've narrowed it down to 1 or 2, even though 3 is fun. I think I like one a tiny bit more, but 2 is a little more practical. You know me, always wanting to be practical. If your heart is set on 3 already, just do it. Otherwise, I think, maybe number......1. Or 2. You know me, I can't make a quick decision. Love you!!!
ReplyDelete#2 (& #3 gets my second place pick!)
ReplyDelete:)
I'm not a fan of Table 3. While kind of cool looking it also looks like plastic and kind of gives this "cheap" impression. Table 1 is very classy, elegant, sophisticated, and would look amazing on a zebra rug. Table 2 might be more practical or more cluttered. :) It also probably won't look as nice as the chrome table on your rug.

#2 definitely!!!

Table #1
ReplyDeleteTwo already looks like the most liked one, and I agree -- for reasons already mentioned. Shelving = good. Gives you more decorating/storage possibilities. Table three is the one I personally like best, because it's super pretty. But I also see it being less practical, and I'd probably wind up with the edges scuffed and it would never be as clean and nice as I wanted it, etc etc. So I'd still pick table two.
ReplyDelete2 :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely #2!
ReplyDeleteI like number 2.... yeah. =)
ReplyDelete#2. I like that it has a shelf. So, you know, you can put stuff on it and not "clutter" the top. Or you can decorate it for christmas and still have a funtional table. :)
ReplyDeleteNumber one reminds me of some kind of museum display box, number two looks perfect for you, and number three looks like one of Linus Larrabee's plastic inventions from Sabrina. :)
ReplyDeleteMe and my sister both like table #2 the best. : )
ReplyDeleteMmm, awesome everyone! Thanks for your thoughts. I think I finally made a decision. Everything you said was awesome - but one person said something that particularly "clicked" and that's why I chose what I did. I'll blog about which one I got when I get it... :D You allll rooock.
ReplyDelete#2
ReplyDeleteDefinitely 2
ReplyDeleteTwo. :)
ReplyDelete2. definitely
ReplyDelete#1. def number one.
ReplyDeletethe last one!
ReplyDeleteI say # 2! always go with the middle one!
ReplyDeleteI vote #2. I think it ties in all the furniture + rug you already have.
ReplyDelete#2!
